Railroad Museum of South Florida The RRMSF is located in Lakes Regional Park, Ft. Myers, FL. Come aboard as a passenger and meet the train crew members at work! Tickets and Events Hours of Operation. Beginning June 3, The Bishop Museum of Science and Nature will be open from 10am to 3pm, Wednesday through Saturday with entry times at 10-11am, 11am-noon, noon-1pm and 1-2pm (Guests will not be admitted after 2pm) | Noon to 5pm on Sunday with entry times at noon-1pm, 1-2pm, 2-3pm and 3-4pm | Closed on Monday and Tuesday. The museum features three operating model train layouts, depicting 3 different times and places: Middle Atlantic, 1950s; Southwest, 1890s Narrow Gauge; and South Atlantic, Modern.
Train rides are available on Saturday and Sunday only. The tour begins in the historic FEC train depot and continues after boarding the two 1947 Seaboard Air Line streamlined rail cars.

Limited equipment displays are available during the week. There is an extensive collection of model locomotives, showing off the liveries of the railroads through the years.
